At SCRA, we believe that strengthening South Carolina’s innovation economy also means strengthening the communities we call home. Our team takes that mission to heart, giving their time and energy to causes that make a real difference.

The Upstate SCRA team and their families recently participated in the Greenville Walk to End Alzheimer’s, raising nearly $1,200 to support the fight against Alzheimer’s and dementia.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research—and we’re proud to be part of that mission.

Meanwhile, our Charleston-area team rolled up their sleeves at Teachers’ Supply Closet, a nonprofit that provides free school supplies to teachers across the Tri-County area.

Since its founding, Teachers’ Supply Closet has distributed over $8.48 million in school supplies and supported more than 336,000 students—helping ensure every student has the tools they need to learn and succeed.

We’re proud to support this incredible organization and to give back to the educators who make a lasting impact in our communities.

Across South Carolina, SCRA encourages our employees to take part in volunteer and charitable activities throughout the year. Whether it’s supporting local nonprofits, joining community events, or lending a hand where it’s needed, our team remains committed to serving others.
