Columbia, SC South Carolina Research Authority presented the Industry Partnership Fund visionary award to Comporium last week. The Fund is SCRA’s tax credit program and is available to any individual or business that pays South Carolina taxes. The award is in recognition of Comporium’s support of South Carolina’s innovation economy as a visionary contributor, the highest level of commitment offered by the IPF.

The IPF was established to enable SCRA and its investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc., to provide coaching, grants, investments, and other types of support for technology startups and for academic research and development.

Contributions made by individuals and organizations provide a dollar-for-dollar tax credit. In addition, depending on an organization’s tax status, an IPF contribution may be deductible as an ordinary business expense. Learn more about the IPF.
