SCRA Opens New Greenville Office

Greenville, SC — South Carolina Research Authority recently held a ribbon-cutting and open house to celebrate its new office. Its Upstate region staff is now located in the heart of Downtown Greenville, where they can easily work and collaborate to help tech startups grow, support academic research and development, and meet the needs of the state’s industries.

Many SCRA Member Companies and SC Launch Inc. Portfolio Companies are in the Greenville region. (SC Launch Inc. is SCRA’s investment affiliate.) The success of startups supported and funded by SCRA and SC Launch Inc. means higher-paying jobs in South Carolina, which benefits all citizens.

In addition to providing working and collaboration space for SCRA and SC Launch Inc. staff, SCRA now offers free conference rooms and meeting space for its Member and Portfolio Companies. This is part of SCRA’s recently announced Member Benefits program, which also includes discounts on essential business services such as health insurance, web and database, legal, and accounting services.

SCRA President and CEO Bob Quinn, Rep. Jason Elliott, and Greenville Mayor Knox White cut the ribbon with other SCRA and SC Launch Inc. leaders. Quinn then invited those in attendance to tour the new facility.
