Summerville, S.C. – SCRA recently finalized an SC Launch investment in REsimplifi a Columbia-based IT company. The $200,000 investment marks the second tranche for the company that was accepted as an SC Launch Client Company in February 2016.
REsimplifi is an end-to-end transaction management system built for commercial real estate agents. To advance the digital transformation of the industry, REsimplifi focuses on streamlining a broker’s day to day tasks through automation to close more deals, faster. The company was started in 2015 by co-founders Henry Moor and David Collier. The investment will be used to scale operations for support, development and marketing.
“As commercial real estate brokers, we understand the daily challenges and complexities of closing deals. In the last two years, we have demonstrated why our technology is unique and built a community among hundreds of brokers who are working side by side with us to build the industry’s first automated transaction system for capturing and owning their data to track deals, serve their clients better and make more money, faster.” said Henry Moore, founder and CEO. “Brokers consider REsimplifi a partner in helping them and their teams work smarter and be more productive.”
“REsimplifi is a great example of the successful entrepreneurial ecosystem in Columbia. With their great leadership and support from our team, USC’s Office of Economic Engagement, the USC/Columbia Tech Incubator and the McNair Institute for Entrepreneurism the company has seen significant growth.” said SCRA Director of Entrepreneurial Programs and SC Launch Executive Director, Jill Sorensen. “The company is making an impact on the Innovation Economy in South Carolina.”
