Summerville, S.C. – SCRA today announced the acceptance of three new companies into its SC Launch Program. Charleston-based ML PlanEx and Mōvī, and Columbia-based Lockin were recently accepted as Client Companies. Companies are accepted into the economic development program to receive mentoring and support services and may be eligible for grants, matching funds and/or investments.
Coastal Client Companies
ML PlanEx offers a software-as-a-service, collaborative supply chain management tool for international, continental and domestic trade. The system provides a solution to plan, obtain and monitor the shipments in real-time of any shipping type (air, sea, river, train and truck). ML PlanEx also features a carbon calculator to compute the carbon footprint of shipments.
Mōvī Healthcare provides a HIPAA-secure, software-as-a-service web application for senior living, hospitals and health systems to streamline their patients’ non-emergency medical transport services such as ambulance rides and wheelchair-accessible van rides. The centralized system increases visibility, enhances Office of Inspector General compliance, eliminates waste and reduces inefficiencies, ultimately lowering costs for clients.
Midlands Client Companies
Lockin creates secure online storage solutions and enterprise platforms for both businesses and individuals. Their solutions ensure information is secure while still maintaining a collaborative environment. The company has recently partnered with the USC/Columbia Technology Incubator.
