Stephen “Steve” Leicht is the President of Digital Science, a global leader in research technology and data, where he drives growth and innovation across finance, sales, operations, legal, marketing, and mergers & acquisitions. He also serves as a Board Director across Digital Science companies in the US, UK, and Germany, and represents the group on the boards of several subsidiaries and investments. Previously,
Steve was Acting CEO and co-founder of 52Inc, a mobile software company, and EVP & COO of Collexis Holdings (acquired by Reed Elsevier in 2010), where he led fundraising, acquisitions, a public offering, and international expansion into Latin America and Asia. Earlier, he held senior roles at IBM in sales, business development, and emerging technology, and founded and sold International Telecommunications Distributors Inc. Steve earned his MBA from Penn State’s Smeal College of Business, where he served as class president, and his BS in Business Administration from Bucknell. He is active on external boards and industry committees and speaks regularly on AI, data, and emerging technologies
