Frank Mobley

Frank Mobley is a Greenville, South Carolina–based technology entrepreneur and the founder and former CEO of Immedion, which he launched in 2007 to provide secure, high‑performance data center and cloud services to businesses across the Carolinas.

Under his leadership, Immedion grew from a single Greenville data center into a leading provider with eight mission‑critical facilities across the Carolinas, Ohio, and Indiana, offering a full suite of cloud and managed infrastructure solutions, and completed a successful exit in 2021.

Frank also led the launch of Immedion’s managed IT services division, IMS Solutions Group in 2020 and, as chair of the IMS Board of Managers, guided the company to a successful exit in early 2026. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President of Operations for Peak 10 (now Flexential) and held engineering and management roles with Comporium Communications, Spirit Telecom (now Segra Telecom), and TruVista Communications.

He also serves on the board of NEXT Upstate and as a NEXT mentor, supporting startup leaders throughout the region. Frank holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Winthrop University.
