SCRA has announced organizational changes that will enable it to provide even more support to the state’s academic research, development, and innovation startups.

Facilitates and funds technology advancements and partnerships with industry, startups, and academic institutions
Coaches and funds technology-based startups that may also receive investments from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.
The Industry Partnership Fund was established to fund coaching, grants, investments, and other types of support for technology startups and academic research and development. Contributions made by individuals and organizations provide a dollar-for-dollar tax credit.

SC Launch Inc. is an independent, nonprofit organization affiliated with SCRA, which provides loans and investments to selected South Carolina-based companies participating in the SC Launch program.
